About James LaVallie
As a self-trained photographer originally from Calgary, Alberta I have always had an eye for composition. I now reside in Gagetown, New Brunswick creating opportunities for myself as a photographer for public events and private functions. Some of my most recent work includes capturing films and photographs of the 2018 North American Showgirl Festival (NASF), and the 2019 Canadian Pole Sport and Arts Federation (CPSAF) National Championships; which can be seen on the events page. In pursuit of my craft, I strive to create a product that gives voice to my subject, and defines my perspective in capturing what is gorgeous in all of its raw, gritty, realism. I aspire to capture life events in their full intensity, while preserving the crispness of the experience in all of my creations.

After moving to the East Coast in 2015, I quickly entered the kink community by enjoying countless events before working with event coordinators an attendees to help photograph the landscape of the local kink scene as it unfolded before me at events such as Halifax's Nightshade and O.R.G events. with the help of the local kinksters throughout the region, I have brought numerous fantasies to conception, helping forge memories to film that at one time may have seemed at first unobtainable.
